Norrie Graham - BVSC MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon & Practice Principal
Owner of Rase Veterinary Centre, Aldervale Vets and Rase Equine. Norrie Qualified in 2000 from Liverpool and has spent the majority of her career in equine practice at Rase in Lincolnshire. Her interests include equine soft tissue surgery and poor performance investigation in a predominantly leisure horse caseload. She is Senior Veterinary Surgeon at our local National Hunt Racecourse at Market Rasen and Zoo vet to a wildlife park with a significant number of big cats and primates. Norrie bought the practice in 2015 and has developed it from a five branch mixed practice to both RCVS Tier 3 Small Animal and Equine Hospital. There are currently 17 branches across Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.

Veterinary Surgeon
Rebecca qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Edinburgh in 1993 and has worked in mixed practice ever since. She currently works in a practice in Lincolnshire. Rebecca is also qualified as an NVQ Assessor in order to train veterinary nurses but this qualification covers all NVQ’s. She gained the ESVPS certificate in veterinary physiotherapy with CEPT in 2010, and completed the CEPT teaching certificate in 2011. Outside of work Rebecca runs a small sheep farm with her mother and husband. They keep several dogs, working Labradors, a Border Collie, and a mongrel, together with some cats; they also have an interest in breeding, riding and driving Exmoor ponies.
Mark Andrews - BVM&S Cert EP MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Mark graduated from Edinburgh University in 1979. He holds a Certificate in Equine Practice, which underlines his knowledge and experience in the fields of equine diagnosis and treatment. As well as Market Rasen races, Mark also attends Southwell and Doncaster races in a professional role. Mark specialises in equine stud work, equine export, and certification and has a particular interest in acupuncture.
Laurence J. Brown - BVMS CertVC MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Laurence graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 1994. He worked in Kent for 13 years, both in small and large animal practice before moving up to Lincolnshire in 2007.
Dr Stacey Pride - MVDr BSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Stacey qualified in 2015 from University of Veterinary Medicine in Kosice and joined us in 2016. She is a qualified Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon and enjoys all aspects of equine practice. In her spare time she does dressage with her horse Liquorice and spending time on her family farm.
Dr Daniel Cordero Banos - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Daniel Cordero joined Aldervale vets in April 2019 having studied at the university of "Alfonso X el sabio" in Madrid, Spain. He is a small animal surgeon who also has a keen interest in exotic animals. Daniel is currently studying for an Internal Medicine certificate. He has rescued a very old cat since working with us called Mr. Jingles and can usually be found at our Sutton on sea and Alford branch.
Nell Day - Dr Med Vet MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Nell joined us at Rase in 2013 after graduating from veterinary college in Budapest. Originally from Ireland, horses are in Nell’s blood - her whole family are riders. Nells developing interest lie in pre-purchase examinations and equine reproduction. Outside of work Nell loves travelling, her cat Ralph and her rescue dog Charlie.
Dr Jaime de la Pena Martinez - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Jamie joined Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2015 after qualifying as a vet in 2014. He works primarily with small animals and specialises in surgery. Outside of work, he likes any kinds of sports and plays basketball.
Dr Harriet Deeming - BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Harriet qualified in 2019 from Liverpool and joined the Rase team straight from University. She is currently practising in both equine and small animal work. Harriet is particularly enjoying small animal surgery but also has a specific interest and love for everything equine, not only in her veterinary work but also eventing her own horse in her spare time.
Dr Laura Jones - BVetMed MRCVS

Laura is originally from Eastbourne, she moved to Market Rasen shortly after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in June 2020. In her spare time she enjoys baking, horse riding and dog walking.
Dr Hannah Miles - BVM BVS MRCVS

Hannah joined us at Rase in 2018. Originally from Wales, Hannah loves all types of equine work and is one of those rare creatures that can turn her hand to anything!
Gonzalo Roque Beceiro - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Gonzalo qualified in 2015 at Alfonso X El sabio in Madrid and joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital soon afterwards. He can usually be found at our Grimsby surgery. In his spare time he likes to work on music on his turntables and mixer.
Claudia Valverde - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Claudia qualified as a vet in 2006 in Barcelona. She joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2016. She is 100% a small animal vet and loves every second of it! Before joining us, while working in Spain, her time was spent mainly doing internal medicine and some exotics work. Her favourite aspects of veterinary medicine is imaging diagnostics, neurology and internal medicine including endocrinology. Outside of work she loves going on walks, making plenty of use of her national trust membership and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr Petru Adrian Sarbu - MSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Adrian is a mixed practice vet who is as comfortable dealing with a horse as he is with a dog or cow! Although mainly dealing with small animal work, he can sometimes be seen at the racecourse assisting on race days. He loves surgery.
Iris Vega Mendez - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Iris qualified in 2020 from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and joined the Rase team straight from University. Iris is particularly interested in small animal and has a specific interest in imaging diagnostic and internal medicine. Outside of work she loves any outdoors activities such as hiking and rugby, she also has a keen interest in photography.
Sara Saiz Anton- MRCVS

Sara is from Spain and graduated from Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid. She joined the practice in December 2020 and has a special interest in Small Animals.
Dr Izabela Drazba- MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Izzy joined us in October 2021 having graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She gave up on the career in international endurance horse riding to become a veterinary surgeon, enjoying all the aspects of the small animals and equine work. She loves travelling and meeting new people from all around the world. She was a fan of The Witcher before it was cool.
Dr. Joana Alexandra Coutinho- DVM MRCVS

Joana is from Portugal and graduated from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in May 2021. She joined the practice in August 2021 with her main areas of interest being cardiology and ultrasound. During her spare time Joana loves to travel, read a good book and go out for sushi.

Gonçalo joined the Rase team in 2022, right after graduating from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is a small animal vet with a keen interest in internal medicine and emergency medicine. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, camping, and going on hikes through the countryside.
Joana Alice Roncon Leotte de Massa Babo- MRCVS

Joana is from Porto, Portugal, and graduated from UTAD, Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro University. She has a special interest in wildlife and zoo animals, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She likes to go for beach walks, do trail, read, and last but not least, spend time with her family, cats and dogs included.
Beatriz Cordeiro- MRCVS

Beatriz is from Portugal and graduated from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. She joined Rase Vets in September 2022 and has a particular interest in Feline Medicine and Internal Medicine. Outside of work Beatriz loves travelling, going on hikes, crocheting and reading.

A dedicated, self-motivated and enthusiastic Veterinarian graduate from Zimbabwe. Obtained a Bachelor of veterinary science in May 2022 at University of Pretoria, South Africa. Joined the practice in August 2022. Very passionate about animals and interested in small animal medicine and surgery.

Blanca Ruiz de Castañeda Altuna is from Spain graduated from the University of Córdoba , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. I joined the practice in October 2022. Blanca is interested in ultrasound and ophthalmology. As hobbies she likes lectures, painting and nature.

Esperanza Reyes Roldán- MRCVS

Esperanza is from Spain and graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Córdoba. She joined the practice in October 2022 and has a special interest in Exotic Animals Medicine. Nature, scuba-diving and traveling to new cities are Esperanza's passions. That's why she has decided moving to the UK, in order to discover this beautiful country while she is fully engaged in the Veterinary Medicine!
Eva María Llana Blanco- MRCVS

Eva is from the north of Spain and graduated at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the Campus of Lugo in 2022. Eva started working and also joined the Veterinary College in July of this same year. Oncology and Internal Medicine are some of her interests in veterinary medicine but also the Equine Medicine. Eva likes to make the most of every day doing exercise and also enjoys spending time in the nature, bird watching or hiking.

Maria Fernandez Gallego- MRCVS

Maria graduated from CEU Cardenal Herrera, one of the Universities in her hometown, Valencia (Spain). She then moved to the UK and joined Rase Vets in September 2022. Maria is passionate about internal medicine and loves working with all kinds of small animals, although she has a special interest in feline practice. In her free time, she enjoys going on hikes and wildlife watching.

Muhammed Siddiq Patel- BSc(Hons) MVDR MRCVS

Mo graduated from The University of Kosice, Slovakia in 2017. He joined us in March 2021 initially just as a Locum Vet. Since then we have managed to persuade him to stay on and he’s now a permanent fixture at Rase Vets. You will most likely see Mo out and about on the Equizone Visits or you may even spot him as one of the duty vets at Market Rasen Races. In his spare time he can be found training and competing on his schoolmaster, travelling, cooking and eating!
Neus Cosano Rosselló- MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Neus is from Spain and graduated from the University of Valencia in 2020. She worked in Manchester in an equine practice before moving down to Lincoln. She joined the practice in May 2022 as a small animal vet and has a special interest in ophthalmology and emergency medicine. In her free time, Neus enjoys reading, mountain hiking, loves exploring England, and spending time with her family and her rescued dog Neula.
Pablo Asenjo Delgado- MRCVS

Pablo is from Spain and graduated from the University Complutense of Madrid, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the practice in December 2022 and has a special interest in Small Animals Surgery and Ultrasonography. In his free time Pablo enjoys listening to music, going on walks with his rescue dog "Brave" and spending time with his loved ones.

I am originally from Switzerland and recently graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine of Budapest in Hungary. I joined Rase Vets in 2023 as a mixed veterinarian with an interest in wildlife/exotics medicine and diagnostic imaging. I enjoy exploring the outdoors and spend my time riding horses, hiking, climbing and camping.
