Richard Larking - Veterinary SurgeonRichard Larkin - BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Richard Larkin qualified in 2000 from Liverpool Vet School. He started life in mixed practice but has gone on to develop a strong interest in small animal internal medicine. He is responsible for small animal inpatients at Market Rasen and joined the practice in 2019. 

 


Emma Bowler - Veterinary SurgeonEmma Bowler - BVetMed MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Emma joined Rase Veterinary Hospital in March 2017 as our Head Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and since then has worked in several small animal practices around Lincolnshire. Her main passion is surgery, orthopaedic surgery in particular and is studying towards her certificate in small animal surgery. Outside of work she calls herself a full on history geek with a passion for murder novels, gin and her border collie, Scampi.

 


Jamie De La Penna - Veterinary SurgeonDr Jaime de la Pena Martinez  -  MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Jamie joined Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2015 after qualifying as a vet in 2014. He works primarily with small animals and specialises in surgery. Outside of work, he likes any kinds of sports and plays basketball.

 


Stacey Pride - Veterinary SurgeonDr Stacey Pride - MVDr BSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Stacey qualified in 2015 from University of Veterinary Medicine in Kosice and joined us in 2016. She is a qualified Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon and enjoys all aspects of equine practice. In her spare time she does dressage with her horse Liquorice and spending time on her family farm. 

 


Claudia Valverde - Veterinary SurgeonClaudia Valverde - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Claudia qualified as a vet in 2006 in Barcelona. She joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2016. She is 100% a small animal vet and loves every second of it! Before joining us, while working in Spain, her time was spent mainly doing internal medicine and some exotics work. Her favourite aspects of veterinary medicine is imaging diagnostics, neurology and internal medicine including endocrinology. Outside of work she loves going on walks, making plenty of use of her national trust membership and spending time with her family and friends

 


Adrian Sarbu - Veterinary SurgeonDr Petru Adrian Sarbu - MSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Adrian is a mixed practice vet who is as comfortable dealing with a horse as he is with a dog or cow! Although mainly dealing with small animal work, he can sometimes be seen at the racecourse assisting on race days. He loves surgery and is usually the member of the team who is called out in the middle of the night to deal with cow calvings!

 


Rachel MuirDr Rachel Muir - MVDr MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Rachel joined Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2017 having studied at the university of veterinary medicine and pharmacy in Košice - Slovakia and previously studied animal behavior science at university in Lincoln. She is a mixed vet and is one of the main farm vets as well as working with small animal, equine and any exotic pets you might need seeing. She has 3 ferrets and a rescued cat called Azriel at home and can often be found somewhere between our Nettleham and Lincoln branches, when not surrounded by a herd of cattle!

 


Hannah MilesDr Hannah Miles - BVM BVS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Hannah joined us at Rase in 2018. Originally from Wales, Hannah loves all types of equine work and is one of those rare creatures that can turn her hand to anything! 

 


Katie Patrick - Veterinary SurgeonDr Katherine Patrick - BVM BVS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Katie qualified in 2018 from Nottingham, and joined Rase the same year. She loves all aspects of equine work. When not at work, it’s still all about horses as Katie wants to get out and do some BD with her horse Bertie.

 


Sam Reitterer BarbourDr Samuel Reitterer-Barbour - BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Sam joined the team at Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2018 and works primarily from our Lincoln and Nettleham practices. He has a keen interest in small animal dental operations and in he spare time enjoys colder vacation destinations for ski trips.

 


Francisca GoncalvesDr Francisca Goncalves - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

Fran is from Portugal and graduated in 2018 from Faculdade de Medicina Veterinaria in Lisbon and has been working with us since 2019. She is very interested in all aspects of equine medicine. Outside of work Fran has a passion for endurance riding.

 


Harriet Deeming - BVSC MRCVSDr Harriet Deeming- BVSc MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Harriet qualified in 2019 from Liverpool and joined the Rase team straight from University. She is currently practising in both equine and small animal work. Harriet is particularly enjoying small animal surgery but also has a specific interest and love for everything equine, not only in her veterinary work but also eventing her own horse in her spare time.

 


GONZALO ROQUE BECEIRO – MRCVSGonzalo Roque Beceiro - MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon 

Gonzalo qualified in 2015 at Alfonso X El sabio in Madrid and joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital soon afterwards. He can usually be found at our Grimsby surgery. In his spare time he likes to work on music on his turntables and mixer.

Kes qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2015 and joined us in 2018. He loves all aspects of small animal work especially dermatology. When not at work Kes likes long distance running.

Laura qualified in 2020 at Facultad de Veterinaria de Extremadura in Spain, and started working with us straight afterwards. She loves small animals, and has much interest in surgery and diagnostic imaging. If not at work, she likes practicing sports outdoors and travelling.

Lucy qualified from the University of Bristol in 2020. She is interested in all aspects of veterinary work, especially equine and small animal surgery. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and baking.

Miriam graduated from The University of Lisbon in 2018, and started working in the UK in the beginning of 2020. Miriam loves internal medicine and is developing interest for surgery and exotics. Apart from work, she enjoys playing with her three female rats, Parsley, Wanda and Chickpea, and travelling around the world.
