We often need X-rays or radiographs to help diagnose a variety of problems. We can look at bone structure and internal organs and on occasions we may be able to see foreign bodies such as stones in the intestine.

The procedure is quick and painless, however most pets will need sedation or anaesthesia in order to obtain the best possible pictures.

The plates are processed digitally to create a high definition image, which can be viewed on a computer, printed out or e-mailed should another specialist opinion be required.
