Claudia qualified as a vet in 2006 in Barcelona. She joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2016. She is 100% a small animal vet and loves every second of it! Before joining us, while working in Spain, her time was spent mainly doing internal medicine and some exotics work. In 2012 she got the imaging diagnostic IMPROVE and is at the moment doing surgery training in Thailand. Her favourite aspects of veterinary medicine is imaging diagnostics, neurology and internal medicine including endocrinology. Outside of work she loves going on walks, making plenty of use of her national trust membership and spending time with her family and friends.
Felipe qualified in 2015 in Madrid and is currently undertaking a higher qualification in small animal surgery. He has a cat called Bora who was a rescue, she came into the practice as a stray. In his spare time he likes to watch and play football and have a tipple of red wine.
Alvaro Diaz Montiel
Alvaro qualified in 2017 at Alfonso X El sabio in Madrid and joined us at Rase Small Animal Hospital in 2017. He is a very enthusiastic surgeon and is in his final year of his post graduate surgery certificate with improve international. In his spare time he like to watch motorbike racing and occasionally when time allows, likes to take part in some races.
Stefan qualified in June 2018 at Ion Ionescu de la Brad University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Lasi. In his spare time he can be found playing sports, reading or playing his PS4. In the future he plans to complete a veterinary certificate in ECC and internal medicine.
Esther Munoz Martin
Esther graduated in 2017 in Madrid, Spain. She joined us shortly after at Rase Small Animal Hospital. She has enjoyed the challenges that moving to a new country have brought and loves to expand her knowledge on small animals every day. Esther is a massive cat lover and would like to expand her knowledge in surgery as she spends much of her time working in small animal medicine currently. Her favorite aspect of her job as a vet is to have the opportunity to be involved in the care and treatment of each animal and see her patients improve.
